Day  1

It is around  5  hrs walk from Port Vato village on West Ambrym through dried river bank, through the forest up hill to get to the West Camp Site  Altitude:  720 meters. And it is about  3  hrs walk up  to Mt Benbow and  return  to the  West  Camp.   Maximum Altitude of 1020 meters. Camping at West Camp for the night. Your guide will prepare all meals for you.

 

Day 2

 You can visit Mt Benbow again or trek back down to Port Vato village.

Tour Price in (Vatu) - 5,500vt for tour guide per tourist a day. 

 

NOTE:

• One day tour can also be organized.

• Price is per person only. 

• 1 tour guide per 4 tourists.

• 1 potter per tourist and porters are charged separately per day.

• Please  note  you will  also  need  to  bring  1,000vt each  for  the landowner  for  direct   payment   for  land  access.

• Price does not include  any truck  transfers and meals as they are additional costs

• Truck transfers from your accommodation to the starting of the Volcano trek can be arranged.

• Meals can be provided at a separate cost or  bring your own food from Port Vila or Santo.

• Tents are available for hire.

• Cross overs to the North or East can be arranged as well.
