Small Nambas Tour at Rano

Description

Situated in Rano village on the northeastern shore of Malekula is the Small Nambas Tour. You will spend about one and a half hours learning about the history and culture of the Small Nambas tribe with your guide, Veronique. When you arrive, the Small Nambas tribe will extend a warm greeting to you, and your guide will accompany you to the show area. You will participate in a great deal of singing and dancing during this tour. You will also see how the indigenous and traditional materials are used by the Small Nambas tribe to survive. Additionally, it's a chance to watch the younger generation perform alongside the elders, demonstrating a transfer of knowledge and expertise that will ensure the younger generation keeps up their traditions.

Tour Price in Vatu (VT) - 6000vt pp (2 people minimum), Note: (price includes refreshment but it does not include your truck transfer as it is an additional cost. Please liaise with your tour guide/host to arrange your transfer).
